I'd just like to point out that on from an economic stand-point, the after-market and parts industry isn't really hurting that bad. Shit still breaks and it still has to be fixed. People who can afford to have fast cars (or at least think they can), are still making them faster. And since he was basically selling to you at cost, which is what it sounds like, from a business stand-point, it is probably actually better for business that you no longer a customer. That is how it works, weed out your unprofitable customers which is what is happening here. :butthead:

really, it started with you talking about how awesome the flood car was going to run, and then, problems or not, it didnt live up to it. there are a lot of other factors, coming from both your side and others, but it doesnt really matter how it started anymore, as no matter what anyone says, they're not doing anything to stop it. no one is going to convince anyone else they are wrong, everyone is going to stick with their POV.

Just because you have suspension and a car that can go 7s...hell 9s, doesn't mean you can drive it to that potential. I mean shit, my buddy has a car that can easily see high 10s, all motor, but he got to the track, couldn't drive his 6-speed the way it should be and ran 12.1x his first pass. My other buddies dad got into 'cause they though something was wrong, ended up being the driver mod. Car ran low 11s w/o even properly staging the damn thing.
Another thing, you can buy all the suspension parts in the world, but you have to tune suspension too, it doesn't just snap together like a Lego.

Well it stared they day prior when you told me you don’t take timing out when you spray nitrous and you actually add timing otherwise your just wasting HP, (that is exactly what you said to me!) but on the pass when you shit blew up as you were heading down the track just prior to your junk reaching critical mass, the exhaust (on one bank I don’t recall which) started to turn white (tell tale sign of pistons melting/ plug melting, more than likely plug) probably caused by too much total timing, Glowing plug + open intake valve + Intake runner full of fuel and oxygen= ignition of said fuel / oxygen, and that sir is what over pressurized you intake and found the weakest link! (Cast aluminum elbow)


In the end you will claim that was not the problem and I will not try to convince you otherwise. What would I know anyways!

heres the real story... I never wanted to tell anyone, but here it goes....
going down track I missed a gear, 5th instead of 3rd.....LUGGED the engine really bad, I stayed into the throttle cause I was still catching the guy I was racing ....I knew better but I stayed into it(I have rich chrstansen on tape even saying that I was catching up....fast)
the car died on me.....just like it did most everytime, found out later it was the tps sensor causing the problem.
after the car died, not thinking I cranked the engine over(nitrous system was still on..opps!.).. thats what blew up the air elbow and damaged the hood
scared the crap out of me

by the way, the plugs were fine, same plugs were in the car when i sold it.

there, now you have more shit to sling at me

best 12.34 @ 120 new motor, no blower, I think it only sprayed first gear and stopped working, faulty tps, on 1 stage 150shot
