I wouldn't call that getting owned but the evo did loose- not by much but still a loss is a loss. It is kinda rare to see an all motor foxbody run like that though (no power adder at all) so I have to give him alot of credit. i will say that in general people over hype the Evo and STi way more than what they should be... not saying that the cars are not impressive because they are, but they are NOT unbeatable by any means.

hahaha apples and oranges. In no way would i say the evo was owned. I see a trailer queen on slicks that does nothing but go straight with high dollar fuel vs a car that drove their and even turns.

sweet vid tho.

If that is the case of a trailor queen I would say there are quite a few of them around here now!! It wasnt a comparision of 2 cars threw turns either it was a street race, and the mustang was on race gas proable but I can bet you anything the evo was to!! :baby:

Your right its apples to oranges the evo cost praoable about $40,000 + $$15,000 to $20,000 in mods and the foxbody cost $5,000 and $10,000 in mods, that foxbody was in a huge disadvantage! :butthead:

Very nice video, good race in my opinion, I have no idea whos evo 9 that was, would like to know its mods, sounded like a 35 or 37R car around 600+hp that Foxbody if on motor has a nasty NA motor in there.

just found info on the evo 9, goes 10.4's@136 so its a 35R car with at or just over 600whp. so the foxbody runs a little better than that on motor. they prob spray it into the 8's lol

the foxbody? or the evo? cause a evo with 600whp will trap that MPH full weight. 650whp will get you 139mph 700-720 will get you 145+ traps all close to full weight

hes a nobody in the DSM/Evo Community. If he was he would be all over evom, Tuning evos or dsm's is diffrent then domestics. hell there is alot diffrent in tuning a evo over a talon. Not saying that car is slow, went 10.4's and has 600-630hp thats all i was geting at, you guys take things wrong. Both cars were fast!
