Wish my s10 could have a little boost bolted on so simply.
nice that was quick! I dont think you will need the by pass eithor unless you go high boost! It will be nice to see another kb around town. I have a 2.4l.
It really was a fairly straight forward swap. I am glad to have had previous experience with boost though, to know little things like hooking up the fuel rail to the boost side. The previous owners setup didnt have that and I had to pick up a fitting. The guy I bought it from said he kept blowing head gaskets and I am pretty sure thats why and I found about 4 different vacuum leaks. If I had no experience with boost I never would have caught stuff like that and fixed it. I also have a smaller pulley for it that is suppose to be for 10lbs but I am leaving it off until dyno tune day.
Placed 3rd in the Sutherland Burnout Competition. I don't feel so bad, the cars who beat me have more then twice the hp as I do, one is pushing over 700 the other over 900. It was a good time, I didn't even expect to place and I doubled my money.
hopefully your money covers the cost in tires
Just ordered a Quarterhorse, time to hop into self tuning. I also put new rims and tires on it, running 315's out back.
Now I just need to install my Eibach Pro Kit and be done with it.
nice, will look even better lowered. wish i could fit that wide of tire
