    Keep power steering.
But get MR2 electric power steering pump and hide it away somewhere.

excellent idea, the pump was all thats in my way. I want this to remain a nice street car, minus the cruise control, I hate that junk.

Still needing that motor this weekend?

    Build looks good.

I personally would just keep with an act 2600. I've read many a horror stories on the spec clutches.

I also wouldn't waste your time on 2g pistons. All said and done you could get a set of eagles/weisco for a couple hundred more.

Lastly, if you want some arp's I have an extra set. 35 bucks for them. Also a head gasket that looks barely used.

Picked up the 6bolt saturday. Came with arp head studs and awd flywheel. Also grabbed a few miscellaneous interior parts I was missing. Littles dsm warehouse is fun, coulda spent a lot more time and money.

thats right count the flywheel bolts...

so apparently my block needs to be bored. anyone have any suggestions for pistons? i dont want stock replacement, and i want something forged. i dont need the best, all out race pistons; just a good, durable decently inexpensive set.

Mahle Pistons $470, Manly $420, Wiseco $500. Thats just kind of an average price. If you need links to dsm part sources let us know. Hopefully mine just needs a hone, came out of a running car so I'm hopeful.

didn't he tell you it was a Centerforce?

still no dump tube...maybe you should come back to CR and hang out with me and you'd get a dump tube.
