Rented a mustang convertable
never really being a fan of the mustang (one of my first cars was a 79 pos mustang)
we got upgraded to a mustang convertable in florida for a week on our rental car.
now i have the desire to buy one very nice cars. anyone local running around in one? would love your take on it

I guess u are talking the new ones?
If so they are a fairly sturdy chassis unlike the earlier ones but heavier. Lots of stick 3v gt's put down 240/250 rwhp on a dynojet stock. Haven't heard any real problems on forums till u get hi hp then the 2 piece driveshaft can break w dr tires. I have seen several reg stick gt's running mid 13's w decent traction. That kinda surprised me. Quicker stock than the older 2v. U can get 10 to 20 whp more w a tune, does away w tq management. The 3v has electronic throttle body. I test drove a gt to compare to my 03.
