well...my laptop ive had for 3 years now has been surpassed. time to upgrade

AMD processor huh, good choice, i wish i would have gone with an AMD rather than a Pentium.
what motherboard did you go with? Asus has some really nice ones out right now.

matt we didnt have a lot of choices at that time. we got ours pretty close to the same time. nearly identical actually, except mines a laptop and yours is a pc. idk what your laptop is. they have 6ghz cpu's now.

i just built a new budget comp, thats isnt anywhere near that, but still suits my needs pretty well.
