My Dad has a '72 Vega which is his project. Him and I were talkin about puttin a motor into it today. He thought up a 350 small block and I thought of a 454 big block.

what's the purpose of the car to be? if your looking for a lot of power and have the money to spend then the 454. If something good on gas, budget build for power then the 350.
