    IHRA vs NHRA ?

few questions about all the ihra talk lately

1.there really hasn't been a sudden change in nhra or ihra recently besides ihra's new president, scott garnder, happens to own 3 tracks in our area? so being the president he is switching cordova, cfr and eddyville to ihra rules and events?

    2. most other tracks throughout the U.S. will not be affected and probably won't switch from an nhra track to ihra and vice versa?

    3. no change to tri-state since scott is not the owner?

You are correct on all 3, number 2 who really knows..

As far as the "events" go I guess you would need to clarify what you are interested in. The national points series classes "bracket racing mostly" would switch from NHRA to IHRA I would have to assume. The bigger events like night of fire and exhibition shows like that probably wont change much since aside from the bracket class, they are a stand alone deal with top fuel, altereds, jet cars, super shifters, midwest mafia, whatever and they probably dont care what sanctioning body it is as long as they are cert'd

It is a great change IMO. I will be getting the B Coupe cage IHRA certified and making my licensing's runs on the IHRA track is have no intension of making hits at tri skate.
