If I run, i will be hitting a dear with my passenger headlight on the way to the track, thus requiring its removal...for safety.

Maybe do a stick class, then a streetcar class, anyone who drives from a parking lot in CR up to the track is eligable to race

Why aren't manual trans cars eligible for the streetcar class? I bet there are plenty of quick manual trans cars that are, I dunno, 80% street, 20% track. Kind of leaves the guys who drive fast street-legal (and mostly street-driven cars) stick cars out-of-luck. Unless they want to run against full-blown drag cars, which wouldn't really be fair.

The manual cars are suppose to enter the manual shootout. http://iowaautoforums.com/showthread...d-registration . it is essentially another street car class, naturally most manuals are usually street driven. most people that are real serious about drag just build autos.

why ya gotta bring foliage into the mix bro? jk

in entirety it is a "street car shoot-out" so its just separated now auto and manual. Lots of issues with auto cars in the past required the naming "Street car, auto street car (remember street car) shoot out/street car...also street car only" naming.
