upped from 2 minutes to 5 now because of a few complaints over the last few months.

is it really a question why there is a limit? so that people do not go back and delete posts from days before confusing any new person that is just reading/catching up on a thread....

    1. to prevent confusion by a poster changing his post or story after new follow up posts have been made about the original post

    2. to prevent massive edits/deletes. with no time limit a person with say 1000 posts could possibly get mad and go back and edit all their posts to say nothing essentially ruining a part of the site.

we've had both of the above things happen

5 or 10 minutes is good IMO. Two minutes was barely enough time to proofread your post and get it changed before you get locked out.
