    cleaning a gas tank?

whats a good way to clean the inside of a gas tank? On the fiero, if it matters. I emptied the old gas out (looked like coffee) but i would really like to clean it out before reinstalling. I was thhinking just use water a few times, drain it well, maybe let it air out for a while then just ffill it with gas and throw some iso-heat or something like that in there?

acetone, air dry, then use a chemical called MEK "wear gloves" let air dry, then use acetone again... There is a kit I bought from JP cycles that can do a good size tank and has MEK and a sealer with it.. IF you do get some MEK make sure and test it, not sure what it will do to a plastic tank since its pretty nasty stuff but works awesome
