    turbo E28 you say? I'm interested, I have a thing for BMWs for some reason. Keep us informed how it comes together!

    This is exactly why I didn't keep my 335xi. Parts were rediculous and BMW's little "tricks" just end up costing you more time and money!

    I probably would have bored out the turbo inlet and tossed #10 and used a flat gasket (it does work, IE:dsm). Outlet side I would just use a flat gasket again. Some of the make your own gaskets are really nice if thats needed. Audi turbo sitting here is the same design.

    I am still considering ditching #10. I already have a gasket made up to use there.

    Its my girlfriends car, Im not paying for any of it .
