Yea mine was the same way, it had a cheap repaint sometime in its distant past and the paint was covered in tiny cracks. It wasnt noticeable from a a few feet away but up close it looked horrible. Hopefully when spring rolls around I will have this engine finished up. Then I will have an excuse to clean up the bay and hide all the wires. It will be nice to just enjoy the car.
Unless something goes wrong I am picking it up this weekend.

Edit - No more Debby downing! I am sure it will look amazing I just have to get over the price/fuckover depression before posting on the interweb.
I think theirs a law against this, like 10% max over estimate cost.
I believe we told you to get it out of there earlier in the summerprobably could get out of some of that money if you wanted to pursue legal action
