29* seems like a lot. u running extra for e85?
So Ive got about 2500 miles on the car now, still havent lowered it or painted anything else
Last month I went to the track and ran a 14.02@102, it was horrible! 2.73s stock stall and a 28.5" tire are not good together, crossed the line at 5400 in 2nd gear.
Couple weeks ago I installed 4.10 gears which are just awesome. with the tall tire they are a blast to drive around town and stuff
This last weekend I switched to E85 and since I had the day off today I got most of the tuning done with that. Makes good power now with 29* of timing vs the 17-18* of stock. Traction in 1st is lacking, will be getting some 15x10s and big drag radials once the stall goes in or it will be worthless!

My car likes timing on e85 too. 16* at 20 psi on 93 pump on e85 at 23 psi 22.5* and still no knock. A few 30psi pulls at 23* didn't knock either, but I'm not going to push it to far.
every LSx Ive had made the most power at 27-29*, and with no worry of knock, might as well go right for it. Upgraded to 1 bar SD, so its easy as pie. Picked up a 100mm lid that should be here in a couple days so I can get rid of the stock lid and crappy maf. Only getting 90kpa so theres alot of restriction there
