Re: Out with the old and in with the new!!
I got most of the big parts to get a start on it. I know I need a charging system and a starter for it, coils, then cables and plumbing for everything as well. I really want to go with a different frame thats not so dam tall because Im not excatly a big guy and I dont wanna look like a monkey on it!! I cant wait to get to work on it though, should be a fun project compared to what Im used to working on. The engine is a Ultima 120inch, if you get a chance Jake let me know about that charging system and starter options. I think its begging for a little fogger system!!

Thats fucking sweet man!! Im still debating about hard tail or swing-arm in the back, with the roads around here I'd probably get bucked over the handle bars on a hard tail, I think I'd like a 3 out 6 up and 35 or 40 degree rake. Hey I am also curious, I have ultima front end on it, 12 or 14 over, can these forks be cut down 6 or 8 inchs shorter?
What motor is that in your dads?

If you go hard tail do a springer and a spring loaded seat and they arent to bad to ride. With the front you have now you would most likely be better off just selling it and buying something different, and thats if it can even be done. My old mans is a 113 ultima with spray we havent hooked up yet. The 120 will be nasty all on its own but keep a set of head gaskets on hand because it will smoke them every so often.
