Re: lookin at wheels
I like the black idea, but c6z wheels in 17s look like really gross imo. They have to be atleast 18s to look decent.

Re: lookin at wheels
17's will give you more sidewall. Better for DD, better for handling. I think you will want staggered, though. Not as much as your drag wheels, obviously, but aren't the stock wheels staggered?

Re: lookin at wheels
the stockers arent staggered, i just wanted to do 17's all around so i didnt have to buy new/more expensive tires..

Re: lookin at wheels
17s 8)
but i'd go 8.5- 9.5 front & 1" wider in back. Get asymmetrical tires instead of directional tires and rotations are still easy. Good all seasons are the Fusion HRz & Yokhama Avid TRZ.
I'm basing by staggered guess on the assumption that the car tends to oversteer, but if it tends to understeer than the same width is probably the cheapest option.

Re: lookin at wheels
I vote for 17s I was gonna go 17s front and 18s in the back for my Stang but when I looked at 18" tires I was shocked at how much more they were than 17s. Both drag radials and 'street' tires are significantly more. Even if 18s do look better (again everyone has an opinion) 17s would be a better move, and dk is right on the sidewall comment, it will handle and ride worse.
