    That looks like one of those Tial housed garret turbos from ImportEvolution...

    collector is hotness, weld it before giant cat knocks it down.

    Are those Tial housings lighter than the cast housings?

    The collector is looking good imo.

    Yes the housings are much lighter than the cast ones, by 33% they say. My 42R style Tial is very light for that size of turbo.

    I wish Tial made a housing that would work for the holset super 40's, the cast holset housing are pretty heavy.

    Updated with a few pics!! Just about done, then onto the downpipe, dump tube, lower i/c pipe and coolant/oil lines.
