local drifting? yeah right

Hey.. so I was wondering if anyone knew if there would possibly be any local drift events near cedar rapids area. I know hawkeye downs had some a couple years ago, but none posted on schedule for this year. or maybe try to set something up? i talked to guys at hawkeye downs last year and they said that the local drift crew or whatever didnt contact them. otherwise, any other good spots to try to set something up at? i cant be the only one around wanting to slide around lol.:beerchug:
