new guy near cedar rapids

hey guys my name is Matt. i recently purchased a 1986 ford mustang gt 5.0 5 speed with t tops.
like to drag race in cedar falls. got hopes of beating a few friends for grudge racing at cedar falls this year.

Just a lil car info:
2000 BMW 328i bone stock
1986 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 T Tops, bored to a 306 fairly fresh engine, subframe connectors, bbk headers with true duals and dumps.

Looking for any one with any good knowledge of BMWs or 5.0 mustangs. Could definately use a little help to get an advantage on the two idiots that i call friends that want to smoke my stang this summer at the track.
