New and with a question

Hi, I'm new here as you can see. I'm a mitsubishi person having owned a FWD-T DSM for a while. Been living in Cedar Rapids for a few years, and I thought I'd ask my question here.

I want to refinish a set of wheels for my car this winter, but I need to strip the old powder coating off. I've been trying a paint stripper, but it's not working very fast. I called rainbow and they wanted $120 plus per wheel to blast and sand them. Is there any place locally that can chemically strip off the powder coat for cheaper? I'd rather invest in my own equipment to do the job myself than pay a lot for someone else to do it.

I know of a place that could probably take care of that for you at about half the price. I'll get a hold of him and let you know.

i have time to do them for u... my sn is slo4cyl if you want to shoot me a pm... i will do all 4 wheels for $380 if you bring them to me... we could meet up somewhere and figure something out for gas or what not if you need to do that also.
