Looking to have the liscense plate area removed from my front bumper... Just wanting to know if anyone around here would be willing/able before I hack off an arm and a leg for a shop to do it...

just looking for it to be something the chrome shop can work with... doesn't have to be perfect or anything... If someone can even just make up the metal piece I an weld it in and such... I just don't have any of my metal workign equipment/tools anymore...

Is the bumper steel, stainless? I could probably fill in the area with some steel, weld it in and grind it down smooth. Or just make a piece to fit and you could weld in.

*edit*..why did you put this in the for-sale section lol

wow, that will be a lot of work. really. hours of grinding.

i vote make a slick fitting grill and mount an oil cooler behind it :D

or get another bumper to section some pieces from so that your patch panels already have the matching curvature.

it is the for sale / want to buy so i figured i am wanting to buy someones skill/time

Any type of estimate Trevor? feel free to PM or something... it is steel... thats about all i know...

it is mild. I've never seen a chromed stainless bumper, and it is rusting.

LOL... yeah i guess the rusted out corners should have told me it wasn't stainless :rolleyes:

ha so there is rust, i guess i was distracted by the blinding chrome. I'll PM you Keith.
