View Full Version : WTB: daily driver for $2,000 or less

Looking for a daily driver, I have a one hour commute to work and driving my truck isnt exactly making friends with my wallet.

Only real specifics I have are:

Needs to be in good running condition and reliable
get 25 mpg or better

Thats it, what do you guys have? And I already checked ebay and craigslist and all the cars are sold already or they are asking way to much for them IMO.

Skye might let her Malibu go... Not sure on teh gas mileage, its a 3100 V6.

higher miles (168K~) but just had the head gaskets and all the intake gaskets replaced/ It didn't overheat or anything like that, It had a bad lower intake manifold gasket but you have to get it dow to the heads to replace that so i figured for the extra $20~ i might as well do the head gaskets. No issues that i know of at all, some dents/rust but not too bad.

LMK if you want more details/pics Not sure how mcuh she would want but i would say no less than $1800 as that is the "fair" retail according to KBB

I have an '88 turbo Saab 900 I am looking to get rid of...GREAT MPG! Very clean leather interior, new rebuilt 5sp manual transmission. 2.0 16v turbo motor, with lots of power. Any other pictures or quetions let me know. Thanks Nate

My man Fes down at Slick Whips has a 90's Monte Carlo...
Only thing i know about it is that it is for sale, has $1900 on the window, can be seen behind the shop at 7th st. and 3rd ave in down town C.R.
