I took it HARD on this one... didn;t even get what i paid for teh rims/tires ($1200)... Some guy that works ar Rockwell bought it, he lives in Shellsburg so i am sure it will be seen once in a while, I think I only put like 100 miles or so on it. Thing is seriously one of the scariest cars i have ever been in. I know it don;t seem like much but it is pretty much a 280~ HP go kart... However my RX7 will have twice the power (atleast) and weighs roughyl the same so... plus it is just a better platform for my plans. HOWEVER I do plan to use some of my Army money to do a 3800SCII/turbo swap next year i think... Depends on how quick i finish the RX7 and the '66 Caddy...

what motor was in it to make 280hp?

3.4L DOHC (LQ1)
P&P heads w/ 7 angle valve job, 4.6L DOHC ford valve springs
96+ intakes P&P as well
OBDII swap (easily done as i started with an OBDII harness to begin with)
3" intake w/ 75mm N* throttle body and an 85mm LS1 MAF
balanced, deburred, knife edged crank
light weight lifters
30lb injectors
Ported and Polished stock exhaust manifolds into a 2.5" dual catless exhaust
custom chip done by Sinister Performance
13* timing mod
We believe it to be making more like 300~ but... stock made 210HP... GM actualy produced these with 280~ from the factory but didn't have a FWD tranny that would handle it so it was detuned to hell... Thing will burn those 17" tires all thru 1st-2nd and into 3rd. left some nice marks down at that old Econo Foods my Pat McGrath...

Actualy... I still have most of yours in my garage... only the block, pistons, rods, exhaust manifolds and valve covers where from your engine. It was all yours until i got "mod happy"
