currently, jusdt needs a recoil starter to run again...it runs perfect..but i broke the recoil when i was starting it, one of the jaws that gravb the flywheel got stuck and took off when the motor started and butsted the housng off the motor...i can pick one up for like 20 bucks, but have no time to lately as im a otr truck driver, and have a dsm to get running again... i have pics from last year...it looks bout the same, except its just dirty now is all

i'm going to pass on that one. I've heard of to many problems with that sled. Not saying yours has those problems but just dont want any future problems in case some develop.

the problems would be with the efi correct? yes i have heard those too, but when i ride this one, and everyone sees its a efi and i absolutly blow the track off their carbd version they tend to think twice...its a damn hard runner. but, if you have your mind set, its set...my step dad is also selling a 96 yamaha vmax i believe...its a twin 600 carbed...nice little sled, but its purple. haha, i can get pics and stuff of that if your interested at all....all it does is sit as it was bought for my mom to ride...but shes not a cold person

chances are ill still have it...not in a situation to where im forced to sell it or anything...but if it sells, ok good. more than likely it wont get ridden mucxh this winter being as im kinda tied down with trucking lately.

pm about the polaris, but i do have another question, whats the track like on it? has it ever been replaced? and how much is your dad askin for the yamaha?

track and rear suspension (entire rear suspension) was replaced last season..havent had a chance to talk to my dad bout his yamaha as he is a otr truck driver also

have the clutches been rebuilt or replaced at any time during the life of the sled?

front drive clutch has been rebuilt 2 seasons ago with about 500-600 miles on it. rear clutch was taken apart cleaned and oiled
