Subaru does a good job of taking car of there customers. My mom's 02 outback had the head gaskets go out at 83k, which is not that uncommon for that year. But Subaru paid for everything, even though it was out of warranty.

theres just osmething about the engine design i love about those cars....idk what the hell it is though.

it said that no US cars have been affected by the problem though so mybe we'll be ok. and at least that still ahve the 6-speed thats pretty much "bullet proof!"
