So when I raced the evo here in Sioux Falls my car seemed very laggy, but its hard to tell when im down 200-300hp. I made a trip out to the local track and couldnt get it to make a clean pass even on 8lbs of boost, to make it run right I had to pull a ton of fuel(30%), so this led us to thinking we had a boost leak. I'll let the pictures explain.

Drivers side intercooler:

and because it also broke the core we had to build a new one:

Now here is the best part, Excessive Autosports ordered the core yesterday, and I have a completed intercooler today. You tell me what shop anywhere else in this area has customer service like this. Thanks Joey, I really appreciate it!

Excessive Autosports here in Sioux Falls fabricated the new intercooler, it was a copy of the original left side intercooler that they built 2 years ago.

I had to overnight parts from Japan, but its all good now  . It pulls so hard, back to the way it used to be. Boost it good!

You guys should have welded on some aluminum straps for the corners.Steve o

^mmm nice avatar. but yea seems like they could weld a small elbow/strap to create strength in the middle of those long sections. idk if I make any sense, impressive car though.

That would keep the tanks together, but it also broke the core itself. I talked to a few racers and they all have problems breaking a/w intercooler cores using anti-lag.

I'm assuming your local track is Marion? I know a guy that raced there on a regular basis.

On another note, I can't wait to see you car in person!
