so obviously iowa is under water. IDK how i currently have power, cedar falls utilities is under water... But http://www.iowaflood.com has pictures, and is excepting pictures, stories etc from anyone.

heres a nice example of why no ones making it to CFR anytime soon.

currently on university ave they are sucking water out of the drainage systems into trucks to keep water flowing through them...or something like that.

Hows CR? Someone should go check out the road my parents live on to the end. THAT has got to be interesting right now!

i checked i few days ago, you could still get down oh shit hill AND to the shooting range. the rest of amana rd is under water and part of cou falls. they were talkin about having to close 965 soon....

here's mine from today. i was trying to take them on the interstate while we were driving, so they're not the best. :) but you get the idea.. downtown CR is gone, pretty much.

thats pretty crazy. I heard last night they were sandbagging mercy hospital! Thats like 15 blocks or more away isnt it? Im not usually driving when were headed their, so i couldnt be sure...

i dont have any pictures to share but...when you go on 380 around 10-11pm it is the most eerie, scariest thing you could ever imagine. pitch black until you get to 42nd st exit i think.

just thought id share...

yea hard to imagine that town not lit up. Over here I had to loan my printer out at work so some CFU guys could use it..im freakin down to 4 computers tha jerks :P. but cerealy, im workin with pentium 4's here I need them all.

yeah, there was a guy riding his bike on the interstate. lol. and actually passing us. the cars were so backed up, we were only going 5mph max from hwy 30 until we got off at the 8th street exit.

and colton, yeah they're sandbagging mercy. and evacuating all of the patients. the nurses right now are mandated (have to come to work & can't leave until the hospital says it's okay.. my mom told it could be up to 5 days).. last i heard, water was around 5ft on the lundy pavillion. and mercy is on 8th ave/10th street.. so the water has made it pretty far.
