Yes on the car for sure! Plan on building the engine this fall.....the hold up could be the transmission.

is that where the wheels are going to sit when done? it looks good, but personally i love seeing the tire all the way inside the wheel well. just me though.

they are all the way inside the wheel well, the sidewall is resting against the wheel well lip right now, have to cut it off. In the end the tires will be 1" tucked from the sheet metal.
the pics don't do it enuf justice

Thanks,
I plan on fiinishing cutting everything out this week, so I can get an overall measurement for RE Action Fabrication, to get the 9" housing finished. Building the Rearend housing is one of the very few things that I won't be doing myself, cause I don't have a jig for it.
Then its time to build the tubs and start bending bars for the cage :supz:

well, here are a few more pics with the wheels all the way in, plenty of room now to set the car at any ride height. This is the largest width tire that will fit in a stock style suspended f-body... but I have lots of room to go with a taller tire later if need be, I had to cut the frame rails down about 2". The panhard rod bracket was cut down about 1" and the lower hole was cut off to clear the tire(that will be refabbed later)
The tubs will go all the way up to the well on the hatch.
Also a after pic of the driverside.
The electrode on my plasma cutter wore down ( and I did not have anouther one at home!) during the job.
thanks to Lee for bringing over his plasma cutter. :WORSHIP:

I decided to rethink the rearend houseing on the car yesterday, So I made a phone call.
So I'll let the cat out of the bag on this part of the car.
ever hear of madman and bradys car?
the worlds fastest stock suspended f-body 7.43@188mph!
hear of 6-speeds inc?
the fastest 6-speed f-body
how about late model racecraft?
the quickest and fastest LS1 on stock suspension
Now I have the same rearend houseing and suspension setup these guys all have, and I also have shop support for the suspension on my car, from madman
I have to say this is very exciting for me, things are really comming together.
