My Evo Dynoed 939WHP!!!!

Went to AMS for the weekend to get on the dyno, Friday was a good day, only problem was the wideband 02 sensor went out due to all the leaded gas its seen. The Motor is a monstor no misfires or nothing, made making this power look easy. here are the final numbers from friday:

I then was in a Highest HP contest on sunday at the AMS open house, I won the comp and made a bit more power. I just did one pull, straped it down and went, no problems!!

The SAE Corrected numbers were 906, 918

Cant wait to get some street video action!! Big thanks to Sperry engines for making a killer motor, AMS, and all my friends who stoped and helped out. Its great to have such a crazy build and knowing it runs great and does not leak anything! Look for it soon on the street.

He has the power to run mph that needs MUCH more safety equipment that he doesn't have nor going to get (that i know of)...like a parachute!

NAh thats cool man I didnt take any offense, just didnt know if Jesse is planning on putting some safety stuff in there to be legal to race it. But with no safety stuff in there now you will have a ton of money involved making it safe and legal for the track, just something to work up to if you want I guess.

I saw the engine couple of weeks ago, it looked real professional, well done piece of equipment. It's one of the top evo whp cars in the country, here in lil ol c.r. Done by a early 20's guy w lil money and lots of good ideas.

Are you saying it won't ET well because it's a manual transmission? If so you are soarly mistaken. I mean have you even heard of an automatic Evo lol? You want me to dig up video's of "stick" evo's slammin the gears to 8/9 sec runs?

No not saying that it wont et cause of the manual, I just dont think he has the set-up to do that I might be wrong. I looked up on you tube and seen some of them going high 9s but they looked pretty gutted. Is his car full weight? Big difference between a gutted car and a full weight car.

^haha well said. I dont want to speak for Jesse, but I believe his car to be full interior still. Im not aware of his drive train modifications other than what clutch he runs.

Pretty sure she's all full interior. I don't see any reason to remove the interior for what he's goin for. Just nice street driven Evo with some power to back up everything.

First off thanks for all the good comments... I did take my time on this build and it payed off their is only a few things that can be upgraded from here and that being driveshaft and axels, in witch i should not need those on the street inless it starts to wheel hope.. The tranny and t-case are built. The car is full interior, but it does have weight reduction done to it from the last time it was out (609whp) about 200lbs worth. Also I will do dig and roll races on the street more roll at first to get a feeling for the car, you allso can not just jump in a car like this and do a launch, it needs setup prop in the aem with the VSS/boost table for any traction problems along with suspension settings and so forth. It is going to be a monstor and this is why I love AEM i can choose any HP from 550whp-930whp so i dont have to be "all out" all the time. And to the low 10 second statment, again you cant just jump in these cars and get a good ET it takes practice and lots of it. I did not make this a Track car i made it for the street and to enjoy not set the world on fire i dont have the funds right now in my life to do that (10-15k for safty equpment.) i will say this HP has gone 9.2's@154-157 with full weight. It is a street car PERIOD I may and i meaning MAY take it to the track later on. but right now 900whp and 28mpg on the highway you cant beat that. :supz:

Read it again, it could mean he isn't rich. I've got a fairly decent idea of the money spent on the red evo. But it only has 4 cyl so a lil cheaper and one turbo. They are making plenty of parts for a evo.

when the engine lives at over 9k RPM, 5500rpm is like 4000rpm in a domestic V8. turbo spools and all the power comes in. where is the torque? in RWD domestics, where else?
