That's the info. Let me know if you want to go and we can all caravan down there. June 14th looks to be the date. So that should let all of you set aside plans.
Would be nice to get 4-6 of us rolling down there all together.

why you got to put us down like that? i think a bunch of ppl can vouche for my car being pretty reliable...

I have reliability. I just choose not to use it. Doesn't look like this is goin down now anyway. Brent you get that driveshaft in and a tranny that can hold your power (a little better) and you have a very reliable ride. I need to do a driveshaft as well. Well its reliable now, but for how long?
I suppose if you lived at home with your parents you could have a "reliable" car...

no shit! Must be nice to have a SLOOOW reliable car.
All my DSM's have been reliable. Specially my white gsx. That thing never gave me problems. DSM's aren't reliable when you don't take care of them or when you don't do simple maintenance. Like when your timing belt skips teeth and bends all your valves in front of Prairie....even when people told you to change teh timing belt 50 times.
Also if I lived at home with my parents, making the money i do now, paying no rent or anything...i'd have one HELL of a fast and reliable car :)

Hey now, carrier bearing making noise in the white gsx, Trevor???? How about my timing belt snapping with only like 30k miles on it. Oh and yesterday the line running from the fuel line to the fuel pressure regulator popping off on council st. Yea that was interesting.

hey ive rode in the white gsx and i can vouche the carrier bearing makes quite a little bit of noise but doesn't really compare to my car and i still drive it everywhere. colton knows how much noise mine makes

Yea, its not fun to battle the results of time and abuse. If I had the time I would have all new bushings and bearings in place...110,000 miles and still maintaining well over 200hp. I say its a pretty aggressive machine.

to depend confidently; put trust in
worthy of reliance or trust
consistent in performance or behavior
ie: My Blazer

i think our cars when they were 5 years with the original battery were probably just as reliable as the blaze but it is like comparing apples to oranges...it is a trail blazer, does not belong in the dsm section

haha i was making a joke and i guess i made a liltle ruckus. I am a fan of dsm's and if i had time and the know how to work on them i bet i would have bought one too. however i choose to pay out of the ass for a car payment for a newer car. i have to give it to you guys though, your cars are faster then mine and for less money. I have never been too big into modding really just little basic stuff.
with that said can we all just make fun of matt now :)

um why? Cause everytime we go out we ALWAYS have to take my vehicle? It gets old.
TbTalon94
06-15-2008, 03:24 PM
we took my vehicle the ONE time you guys went out with me.
RandomHero
06-15-2008, 04:07 PM
We did? Which vehicle of yours? Ive never been in your Talon or you Jimmy or the Jetta since its been in your possesion.
No but we always seem to HAVE to take mine. I think its funny cause its the only one thats gets the WORST gas milage. Oh well, Ill be getting another car soon and my blazer WONT move unless I need to use it.
Drifte
06-15-2008, 04:21 PM
I think I held the record for worst gas mileage when I first bought my talon...a whopping 8mpg. If the talon seated 8 or sat more than 2.5" off the ground we could take it more...
thats why I want an evo :)
TbTalon94
06-15-2008, 09:38 PM
yea we only took your Blazer or my Jimmy because you can fit more people then TWO people. 4 doors and real back seats would be nice.

lol, im on my way back. Wire tuck is probably going to have to wait for the engine to get back in. Its harder for me with an empty bay wondering where all this crap is supposed to reach!
