If anyone is going to make a real pass it won't be at a Cedar Falls night race. Any track prep you can get is taken away by all the street tire cars driving through the water box.

on the contrary; i ran my best passes at a CFR All Night Drags. mid-low 1.7 60's all night long. not crazy fast, but i was impressed with it.

shitty pits, shitty bathrooms, shitty conssesions, shitty stands, shitty metal guard rails, shitty track prep, shitty ticket box. Basically its like racing in a bowel of soup. Prety sad when my awd couldnt hook there with 4 drag radials.

Tri- State= 100% all assphalt pits, Clean new stainless steel shitter rooms, brand new consessions, nices stands, 100% all cement track and guard rails, Awsome track prep, nice ticket box. All around a good clean fast track. Not to mention it hooks like glue.

Gonna have to half-way agree with George there. I got my best 60ft and ET times at Tri-state. CFR just always seams to have crap track prep.

i guess i should blame my car blowing up partly on CFR though. i figured if my car hooked while spraying in first gear with 25psi in the tires, than it should do the same on the unprepped street, hehehehe.

ya i had terrible 60's at CFR. I had to slip my clutch like a grandma. Never been to tri-state, but i have gone to cordova and was very pleased

I never had too much of a problem at cedar falls at night, I ran a couple 9.3's with a low 1.3 60' on DOT tires there.. but!! the track is definetly alot shittier at night and if you got a hard running car then "which I dont think you do muff" but then you WILL be having problems hooking up. But I heard even tri state was slick was a couple weeks ago
