well i hate to do it but its for sale. The car is a 1998 Honda Civic DX. It has a 5-speed manual transmission. I bought it from a friend who had it for a while until the odometer stopped working right as it was turning over 100,000. He then immediatley stopped driving it and bought another car. i then bought it from him and a week or so later i put an EX gauge cluster in it with a working odometer. when i bought the cluster it read 85,1XX miles. It now reads 87,982. So the car has roughly 103,000 miles. THIS IS A CLEAN TITLE VEHICLE!!!

the condition of the exterior is pretty poor. One of the owners before me did a crappy paint job and its chipping in places, mainly because i dont think he primered it. there is a spot of rust right in front of the passenger door on the fender...but that is the only rust i am aware of on the body. It has clear tails...i also have the stock tail lights if the buyer wants those, but in my opinion they look absolutely horrible on the car. You get one set or the other, NOT BOTH. It also has halo headlights.

The interior is in much better shape then the exterior. The car didnt come with a shift boot so i put one in. and there is absolutely no stains or cigarette holes what so ever. THIS IS A SMOKE FREE CAR!

The motor and tranny are immaculate. No grinds in the tranny and the clutch is perfect. The Check Engine light is on. Had it checked out at Sears (i work there) and it came up as the secondary o2 sensor. I replaced the main one on the the header when i bought it. The motor is BONE stock...absolutely nothing done to it. I changed the oil when i bought the gauge cluster for it at ~101,000. I will change the oil and filter before the car sells. Keep in mind this is a daily driven car so the miles will go up.

The tires on the car are good. Right now, i have the stock tires on the front with Bridgestone Blizzaks on the rear(used them on the front over the winter). The Blizzaks have about 85% tread life left, and the fronts have about 50% left.

I have done my best to describe the car as best as possible. if you have any questions or you think i missed something PM me and ill get you an answer.
You may contact me about the car via AIM (jhawkswima1) or on my cell phone at 319-721-1373.

honestly, i really DONT want to sell it. but with the way things are going at work...i cant really afford to make payments and insurance while getting by. im in the process of getting a new job though so it might not sell...but for now...its what the cards are telling me to do.

With gas prices the way they are you should just keep that thing.

it is ideal...even with the busted o2 sensor it still get 32mpg in the city :bigthumb: but...with the loan and insurance...after all is said and done i only have about $40 a month to live off of.

i dont suggest selling a reliable car to get by due to low income...ive done it like 6 times, it never really helps. Go give blood and semen...(not not like together..)

Im not just suggesting this so you someday buy this turbo stuff, I have good intentions here. You have a solid ride, I honestly would buy it if I had spare cash too. That means you should keep it!
