WTB: LS1 + Tranny

im posting this for a friend. if you know of a motor and/or tranny let me know. condition doesnt really matter as he plans on building it.

What trans? if its going to be a drag car just get a th350 or th400 there everywhere if you just look.

a TH350/TH400 wont bolt directly to an LS1; some kind of adapter will be needed.

still worth the extra money for a bellhousing over a 4l60e, those things blow

A th350, 400 and Power Glide will all bolt up to a LS series motor. You only use 5 bolts instead of the standard 6 when you bolt the tranny up. But if you feel the need for a full bellhousing, Yank has made an adapter to bolt up a 4l60 bellhousing to a th400 tranny.
