i need an intake like that; it'd be so easy to block off one side and open the other...

04-16-2008, 08:18 AM
haha that intake is like $1,000 without any options. I don't think that's the one you'd be buying to hack up.
ps...looks good Brent :bigthumb:

ya know Brent...i think you should ditch that mitsu manifold and let me build a squid to hang your turbo from :) . It is a t3 turbine with an AMS adapter right?

hey, lets push it and ride it down the road to your place...It would be fun. Whens the floor getting painted again?

that could be arranged, i want a manifold but it has to be custom made or a AMS one to get rid of the adapter flange. but i would like to do some testing, shoot me a price though.

do 4G63's run cam bearings? might sound like a dumb question, but there were a few old school engines that ive read about that had a good enough supply of oil that they didnt use any bearings.
just hard to tell from the pics...

i dont think he did, he kept taking guitar hero breaks and calling me, but I was far to busy polishing things to talk to him. I can update real quick tho, looks like hes going to be welding the clutch pedal assembly just as I did only 1 week ago. Brent came over and helped me, so he has some experience now anyway. Just to bad this is like the 3rd time its happened to him (the clutch not fully disengaging).
Oh if anyone wants to get out their tig for some welding let us know, I dont want to put all my faith into my bro, never know what hes doing.

i only took one guitar hero break thank you...and that was cause i was waiting for a key to get into work.... but yeah as for the 3rd time of the clutch not disengaging it has been 3 different things. the first time was a bent clutch fork that i found right after i got it finished. the second was my master cylinder that happened mid season last year and now this one...so as you can imagine im kinda bummed... but i always try and look on the bright side, now everything should be good in that department. :yawinkle:

well i finally got the thing moving. swapped in my 2600 pp from last year idk whats up with this 2900. but jesse came down and we did a few pulls tonight got it pretty well dialed in but it has a ignition problem around 8000 rpms...im gonna try a new set of plugs tomorrow and then probably order a new coil cause the one i have has around 211k on it.
