That is a good artical there and helps sheds light on the fact that diesel can get some good gas mileage. Now for the fact that only less then 25% of the driving was in town, where the prius would of really shined, I think it did just fine on such a long trip. The fact that there isn't that many diesel cars/trucks in the US right now the prius actually is a good choice for someone here.

It'll be interesting to see when they'll start to make a lot more diesel cars/trucks beings they can improve on the fuel effiency of the gas counter part greatly. I keep reading that's what their looking into... but looking into and going to produce are two different things.

That's all I feel like typing right now.
