is it worth putting in a shift kit now and spending the money i mean performance wise..would it be a good thing to do

and does anyone know how much a good kit would cost for a 2g dsm?

Of course, faster, firmer shifts. Definately do it http://www.importperformancetrans.com/m ... shtml#main (http://www.importperformancetrans.com/mitsubishiauto.shtml#main)

Trans Lab Shift Kit $85

For Auto transmissions for dsm's.
IPT are they guys you want to talk to.
Hey while you are there. Why not run a bit larger Tranny cooler.
If you have a fmic you could mount your new tranny cooler in the passenger side. Like I need to do.....

Yes...Yes you do. ^

Like Andrew said IPT is the way to go. If your looking to run good times then a shift kit will only benefit you. Faster/firmer shifts will help get you down the track faster along with increases shift points will help tremendously.
