"alright cool. this is gonna piss a lot of chevy guys off. when they finally found out that the ls1 is a ford based engine"....

Hmmm it seems the ls1 heads will swap on a sbf block, a ford guy is doing it for the heck of it. Detailed pics etc. And before u cry foul the sbf came in 62. I will post the link so u can see for urself. I said that before but never had a set to measure just looked at them at the shows. They mention Robert Yates helped design them who knows.

this thing w/ putting the l92 head on a 351w has brought up a lot of interesting similarities between the LSx and 351W. it seems that ford would have made something very much like the the LSx series had they stuck w/ pushrods. probably would have put some really crappy heads on it for good measure.

Yeah thats a new one to me, this could be a cool little setup actually, but like someone else said on the forum in there, I think the cleveland heads "for a drag car" would still be the way to go. But as far as a street car is concerned that would be cool..

Ha ha I did it for zees benefit mostly. It isn't worth the cost of a custom cam $800 and intake unless u grind cams and weld alum even with $100 heads. It just goes to show what a small world it is. If ya examined my 4v heads u would see 4g63 stuff there. Truly who knows if sbc camaro would have existed without the stang pony car w a sbf? All I know is I've had a lot of fun w those guys.
