Ya I got a new book and I can recommend it. It's by Richard Holdener building 4.6/5.4 ford hp on the dyno. 185 dyno charts/sessions of what if. It shows a lot of 2v gt and 4v cobra stuff, cams, s/c, turbo, etc. Mostly engine dynos at westech using a Fast ecu. Even stuff like cam timing dyno. The only thing really missing is 4v porting dynos. Amazon.com If u are a 5.4 lightning guy well not much there. Book #sa115

And btw they updated the Sean hyland book to cover 3 valves, it is just out.

i just got holdeners book on ls1 through ls7 dyno tests along with a few other books the other week. not bad, but my biggest pet peeve is how he will test different intakes, heads, etc, all on different ls1's ranging from 420-600hp with different supporting mods, making it hard to compare them all on the same level. still good reference and information though.

Greg Banish's book is probably the best out of every piece of reading material I have its an amazing book.

I'd have to agree with that. His book explained more and contained more on how to tune than any book I have. Definately a good one for the average joe. :bigthumb:

100's got thrown away in 77 flood. All my shop manuals for the 69 etc. I'm old and worked 2nd's many yrs. Didn't marry till 25. Dad was a ford mech so he would get me manuals, the ford race books etc. We had no internet those days or cd's, dvd's. I prefer a ford manual to a ford dvd faster for me. I have the dvd for 96 to 03. Used it a lot for wiring. Really u win, a lot mo cool stuff these days. My old stuff is stick x factory cam and heads, intake and carb. But i can tell u a 68.5 428cj mustang ran 11.49 at 120 in e s/s in 68. The 2 I would get for historical reasons is the reprinted hi-per parts and the Off Hiway Parts books.

A mistake the girl was... The zoomers girl.
