I have never seen so many cars in my life as there where today over 200, got only 4 runs got there at 10.00 and left at 7.30. Tons of fast cars

Today royally sucked, I think the shortest wait I had in the staging lanes was 1.5 to 2 hrs. I got a new best NA time, 10.3 at 130.5, but Im still battling the same nitrous problem as last time, picked up about .4 sec and less than 4mph on a 300 shot!! I would say there something not right there.. Now Im gonna rest my legs from pushing that damn car through the stages all freaking day  nice run allgo, got the mph back up there.

Damn 7:30 Never thought they would have been open that late. Nice runs for sure. Did the car like timing or being leaned out some? I figured on higher octane fuel you might get away with the AFR in the mid 11's to 12 flat, but I have no experiance with Cobra's.

Any other cool cars run decent or spill there guts :vom: ?

It liked being leaned out a little, but the biggest gain came from what I had expected all along... removing the intake restriction. Whole new car now. Still haven't used the nitrous yet either. Never seen so many oil downs, and such a long wait to make runs.

The track seemed to be hooking good. The day fucking sucked though. Alot of fast cars there, and some cars that had no buisness running there. Way to unorganized, sitting in lanes for up to 2 hours, running radials with slick cars. Almost as bad as the night races. Good run though Joe. I thought you were going to let em hang though and spray that bitch! Ninesecsnake ran a low 10 for his best of the day, still working the bugs out. Torrey ran a couple 8's, best of an 8.4 I think.

You ever get a cage for your car? I remember for awhile cfr wouldn't let you run since you didn't have any safety equipment. which is pretty amazing that they actually caught onto it. We had a mustang run nines before with stock belts! (I used to work there)

Some good news is that cfr is under new management. Not that Mike Klemme sucked, but the track is finally getting much needed improvements. (repaved the whole track, cheaper prices, NHRA instead of IHRA)
