I got another small one and had the cross in my right arm redone.

No big ones yet and don't forsee any real soon. However I am carying the theme on my right arm and will be a 1/2 for now. in addition to the cross, the tricep is getting my sons name (Landon), the front of the bicep is getting a cadillac emblem and closer to my elbow offset below the cross is going to be brass knuckles... I may switch up the locations a bit but that is the plan as of now...

Speaking of tats,i had a very very good friend pass away.His name was hank bertka,he owned and operated Hardcore tattoo.He will be missed dearly and i will never forget all the great memories we had.......R.I.P HANK.

Hank is an awesome guy!!! :WORSHIP: He will missed dearly. My fiancee had him do a tattoo and he made it beyond what I think anyone would of been able to do! It was a big shock to hear that he was lost.

hell yeah man, i was wondering when you were going down to get work done. 7 hours is brutal though- how was it?

90% of it was tolerable, about 2 square inches between my sternum and nipples about an inch up was nuts pain though. When he was using the 13 it got nasty around my collar bone, but that still wasn't bad in comparison. He went crazy with shading and highlights (its all color) so I'm pretty anxious for the washes to fade out to their final colors, and the whites to stop oozing ink so I can see the final product.

jj what did you get? I hear color and white, and for some reason picture an american flag covering your hold chest haha. Im a big fan of b/w especially with tatoos. Although I still dont have one.

two symetrical horseshoes with nautical stars and banners. its a retro style tattoo so black and white doesn't work.

lefty overcharged me, and personally, i didnt like him a whole lot. i would recommend Nemesis in Iowa City- it's on Linn St right by the Ped Mall. everyone there is pretty awesome, but i dig Scotty Potty's work myself. that and i have a lot of friends who go to Neon Dragon on Blairs Ferry in CR- they also do very good work.

dig the oldschool tats. youd probably like to see my friend Christina's. she reminds me of Kat Von D a bit, but not completely covered in tattoos. she does have a gnarly anchor on her arm, as well as a coi fish that wraps around her ribs, and goes from her armpit all the way down past her hip. shes a trooper.

Same guy that did JJ240's did this one. Great guys there at Y Not Ink, in Davenport. Just needs some finishing touches. that was an 8 hour session and Toni had to get going to catch the cubs game so i didnt want him do pull it all off in one sitting.
