Well, i never heard back on the gauges i was trying to get (damn you steve) so i decided to just spend the money else where... I got onto one of my MANY favorite site gunbroker.com and snagged a Lorcin .25 for $55. All in all it isnt much bigger than my cell phone, probably like 4"x5" or so, may be a little smaller... QUITE a difference between this and the intratec DC-9 (Tec-9 for the rapper folk) i usualy shoot. Probably going to have ot get a really big gun next time to make me feel like a man again :bigthumb:

Pics are pretty much the actual size: it could fit in a 3.5" X 4.5" probably with a little room to spare

the next one will be a .45ACP then probably an A4 or something... Finaly getting around to making molds of some fiero parts i fabbed up and have already had a few orders placed so hopefuly i can get this moving along and snag up a couple more this winter... Of course i am COMPLETELY redoing the fiero as well this winter and will be building the engien up a little bit to handle the boost so i may not have too much money leftover... but for sure i will buy another pistol or two...

I hate to say anything but hate to see young people get guns, All you have to do is get pissed one time to get into trouble with them.

I have my own but dont say anything about it. You let people know you have them and I see breaking and entering on the way when your not home.

I have MANY guns... upwards of about 10-15 right now. I have had guns since i was about 6 years old or so.

as for the B&E, there is always someone home, there are 5 people living here and we all work different shifts. and if someone does, they better be REALLY sure no one is home... buty honestly i dont see that being a problem at all, IF any one knows where i live, it is in a very busy little section of Hiawatha, i am by a park, golf course, police station, fire staion, and Center Point road, i have never been even remotely worried about any type of break in... cops drive past my house literaly every hour.

so is it actually legal for you to carry that around in your pocket? do you have a concealed weapons license or something?

i dont think youre allowed to have concealed guns in iowa.

i could be wrong, though.

pretty sure you just have to get a concealed gun liscense..which from what i hear isn't to easy in Iowa.

In iowa a CHL (concealed weapon permit) isnt really hard or easy to get. You have to fill out paper work and what not then it is up to the Sherriff to decide if you get it or not, most people dont.

However if you go to Utah and get a CHL you can carry in ANY state. :bigthumb:
you can get one from MO to IIRC but there are a few states that do not accept the MO permit (iowa is one of them) So to answer the questions, no it is not legal to carry a concealed weapon unless you have a CHL. I wouldnt really need one at all however living right off of 15th st. SE/NE and having a white pride tattoo, id say i migh need something...
