Dustin, I know what you mean. I look at the video of my car that Trevor posted and to me it looks slow, Like a 15 second pass. I noticed the stang took a while to boost and I had that problem with my 2 step. I waited for the other guy to stage and when his first light goes on next time Im going to stage and floor it right away. Still the Stang looked good to me, I would trade him cars.

999.7rwhp? thats kindof a kick in the balls. come on, spray a little methanol in the air filter, all you need is .3hp.

Sounds like a stock cam. Which btw is .390 lift and around 190 deg @.050. It appears it ought to go 8's if the 60 was better. Running m/t dr radials.
Heres a lil mo tech info on the car.
The stock motor will take it but the stock head bolts won't work over 27 PSI. I lift the heads on every pass. I put some titan copper head gaskets and arp head studs torque to 90 FT and its holding 30 PSI so far. To max out this turbo you would need to o-ring the block. For 30 PSI this thing was moving, race weight was 3620. Going by the MPH it was close to 1050 RWHP. We're going to bolt on some slicks and hopefully run some high 8's. Full exhaust.

His name is Mark Larson, he and I race every year during Car Craft Summernationals in Minneapolis, we will both be at CFR Oct. 27th for the Porkeys Shootout, should be lots of 8 and 9 second street cars.

At a big kart race we went to one year a guy had his driver suite inside elbow sprayed with NITRO. Going down the straight he would put his arm around the air cleaner and act like he was adjusting his carb and he walked em down the straight but officials new something was up and he got inspected after the race and arm was still dripping wet with nitro.
People were always getting caught cheating, really sucked.
