i have no idea why Dodge didnt do this with the new Charger in the first place, look at how badass it looks as a 2 DOOR!:

this company is converting Chargers to 2 doors and installing Indy-built 426ci new hemi stroker motors that at supercharged or twin-turbo'd for as much as 1,200hp! heres a couple links to progress pics and features:

dont like the new chargers at all... but THAT looks amazing. The 2 doors and getting rid of the truck grille really help it a lot.

well, actually the end of next year, when dodge releases the challenger, it will be easier for the charger to be a 2door from factory. daimler chrysler is taking there dodge magnum, dodge charger, and chrysler 300 off of the lx chassis, and putting it on a lz chassis, which will be the same chassis as the challenger. its a few inches longer and wider, but will give people more of a choice. the charger, magnum, and 300's will still be awd, giving the challenger a strong posibility of being awd also, and also giving some under budgeted people a chanve to have a 6 cylinder powered version of the challenger for people that will not be able to afford the 6.1 hemi 6 speed version

yeah, but Dodge only offers AWD with V6's. and from what i read, they planned on releasing V6 Challengers anyway.

so they supercharge it AND add twin gt40 turbos? I could only imagine the amount of money required for this type of work. Besides that though...thing looks bad-ass. I'd drive the shit out of that.

are you sure? they sell 300c's which is the 300 with the 5.7 hemi in awd... so their very capable of producing something to handle the 6.1

pretty sure, i went to Dodge.com and built a fully loaded Charger Daytona, and it wouldnt let me select the AWD option with the Hemi engine.

Looks like Dodge is starting to take notice of the 2door styling. That car does look good though.

yeah, but they are now also offering 300C's and Chargers in AWD, but i am pretty sure only with V6's though. Chrysler doesnt offer a manual trans in the Chargers yet; but Keisler Engineering does offer a T56 bolt-in swap for them.

i was a car salesman for a chrysler, dodge, jeep dealership...i personally know that you can get the awd in a v8. because at one time we had 6 300c's and 4 of them were awd...the "c" makes it a 5.7hemi car.....now magnums and chargers may be different. but they are still the same chassis as the 300's. they have a v6 awd, which is calling a touring package
