no one made excuses, anyone can miss a gear, no one is perfect, and idk about how many times vic has had his car out, but learnin to launch a new setup on the street is not a easy task

well vic you are on a built 2.0 head and all. Keger has a 100,000 mile 7 bolt. 7:8:1 compression prob less with the head gasket. and stock head and a 16g turbo. Slo4cyl will race you with his 91 octane built motor with no meth, and you can use your 28psi and meth. :)

Don't act like Kegger's motor isn't in awesome condition. Great compression, arp head studs, 4-layer cometic head gasket...last time i checked unless someone removed them. Don't forget that his car weighs probably 500lbs lighter then Vic's lol.

Who said Vic was running 28psi?

Now a race against Slo4cyl would be a good race. Both have built motors and the capability to make some good power. I guess Vic's gotta beat Kegger first though lol.

Keger's car is pretty quick, but i think most everyone can agree its running to about it's limits as far as the setup is concerned. it's awesome he's able to run so well with the parts he has, but Vic's car has a lot more potential i think. you guys know how the tuning game goes, it takes a while to get a decent tune. hell, it took me 2 years and two different carburetors to get my tune semi-correct...

Jesse, Whats better, 1mm over sized valves or a sheet metal intake? Thats all I have and double valve springs but had rev limiter set at 7500. I heard that turbo is clipped and ported so its a lot better then a stock evo 16g.

I went with higher compression but I know all that it does is limit the amount of boost I can run. And 28 psi is about the limit on my turbo. As far as the block its about the same but yes I do have forged pistons and rods and it was balanced. I don't think that would give me anymore HP on the block.
I still want to say Kegars car is fast and he should be proud to be that young and have a car that fast.

I will have Trever tune it and run 93 and take the fuse out of the injection and run kegar again if he wants. I should put 103 unleaded in it but will do that another time as I dont think I will get much more out of 103 over 93 and the injection.

some times true, i would say im geting fast at it. Kegers car has less than 30min on tuning. his car is lighter but only flows 37lbs of airflow. vic said he would run 28 with injection, he siad he was on 18 against keger. Slo4cyl's car will run 91 octane and way under 28psi I dought he will have it up here this weekend though. might be next weekend. Turn the boost up vic and let it rip! :)

He has a red 93 AWD talon. Your basic mods with some nice ones packed in. It used to be "evotuner's" over from dragsource.

Got off work today and thought its to hot to work on it and I just figured out tonight that my washer bottle is in the trunk lol so will have to get it up on jack stands to route the hose. One nice thing about the washer bottle is that it has a low fluid light. I don't know what it will run like with it turned up but cant wait, Man, Got it running last fall and still haven't seen its potential.

I have my car out quite a bit actually, I try to stay away from the big group street racing thing, my car is so damn loud I cant really drive around anywhere without being noticed by a few cops, I been up at the strip last 2 or 3 weeks in a row, now I finally have my nhra license :supz: right now my tires leak so bad I will probably have about 1 hour till its on the rim so untill my damn tubes get here its stuck in the garage on blocks.. but Im down for some beers
