i was gonna say; they look a bit short. i dont think you need much gear though. you are gonna love those things Trent, they are glue. i hooked on the street and strip almost all the time with 25psi in the tires!

They will hook for sure, but the big gains will be in less parts breakage. The wrinkle wall construction will really take some shock out of the driveline.

lol they will hook harder, and break more things. one of the most stressful things for a drivetrain is launching w/ sticky tires

No I'm right. A stick car on sticky drag radials will break more parts due to the hard sidewall wich shocks the drivetrain more and can add up to wheel hop. The bias ply tire adds a wind up type loading keeping the initial load spike down.

Yes, if the car dead hooks it could be bad, but in DSM's breakage goes down using QTP's or et streets.
