I just got a 305 for it today so engine is no longer an issue other then it hasn't been swapped and also got a new alternator.

so it will have the 350 in it, and also a 305 to swap into it? what exactly is wrong with the motor in it now?

the 350 in it makes a knocking ticking noise randomly, sometimes its ok sometimes it makes a noise. No idea what the problem is but the oil pressure drops to 5psi after driving for 30+ minutes but idling it wont go below 10psi.

So i got a cheap 305 to swap in so I could pull the 350 and find the problem and fix it.

uhm, kinda a few more problems with this thing than i want to handle.....being efi and all, swapping in a 305 from a 350, the ecu will be all fucked up, and i dont wanna deal with those problems....i need something i can rely on, as the camaro will never see snow again...and i mean it....but thanks for letting me know bout this truck.

really the ecu shouldn'tbe that messed up if every thing gets hooked up right my friend and his dad swapped a vortec 305 inplace of there blown vortec 350, it runs a little rich but that truck can stomp my 355

but like i said.....a lil more than i wanna deal with....i want something i can drive, and not worry about, well i wonder how well this swapped out engine is gonna run, being rich as hell or what not....i dont need stupid comments on how i should do things.....either way swapping a 305 in a 350 truck, shit will be messed up in the ecu......so once again, im gonna pass on the truck...and im still looking
