View Full Version : How hard is it to change a timing belt on a 1sr Gen Talon?

How hard is it to do? Is their anything that will need to be taken off to get to the belt and need to be replaced? the water pump is Brand new by the way. And How hard is this to do? any certan tools needed?

How much do the belts usually cost. Im going to call a dealership tomorrow and find out. Im just asking you guys before I give the call.

peice o cake. as i sit here with my left hand in an ice pack cuz i damn near broke my wrist doing a 2g timing belt last night :(

good time tho :)

lol I've fun times like that before, not a timing belts but plenty of other stuff, like a clutch those are fun to drop on your hands

yeah, DSM's require a lot of reading. they should teach DSM in 3rd grade....

^haha good one. All i did was twist my wrist wrong using a breaker bar on the crank pulley. its bad news today, may get xrays tomorrow, but hositals suck.


so you get that 1g?
