Tap acoustic is cool but its just old style folk / blues mix. Glad to see some people are still keeping it alive.

lol the vocals just don't go with the music. They play so fast and he sings slow and long. Sounds goofy to me.

Their guitar playing is insane though.

Its power metal... thats how they roll.

look at Dio, Hammerfall, Iron maiden, Halford... all same vocal types and styles.

I just cant believe how fast they are with their sweeping technique.

it kindof does when you consider the themes they are going for with their music. it seems to me they want big, epic, etc. its hard to sing epic vocals fast, they need to be slow hard, like vocal power chords.

i used to like fast music, have been getting out of it more and more, but i have to admit Jay, i really dig that song. im sure only in moderation, but i dig the whole thing.

Yeah dude for sure. I cant listen to Dragonforce song after song… its like having a seizure on speed. Most of the other power metal I listen to along with it uses either a galloping 8th note or even slower and incorporates strings, brass and keys.

But that sweeping technique that the dragonforce guys demonstrate very well, can be used at any speed, and for a variety of styles. I think that’s why it interests me so much…

i would also have to add. ... sorry Jay and Dustin... but I'm not a fan of the Dragon Force.. just to over the top for me..

i could see that; theres just so much going on, its sensory overload. its just so fast and dramaitc, its hard to take it all in.

i did want to add, i love in the music video how everything shakes during the bridge....like youre in an earthquake or something. just shows you dont have to spend a lot of money to have an awesome music video.
