1993 Eagle Talon TSI AWD 5 speed 7bolt/4bolt rear
97900 original miles on body/motor
I am the 2nd owner of this car, I purchased it in 10/02 with 84K miles on it.
Purchased car bone stock (even with original clutch!) from a lady in her upper 30’s.
Car is VERY clean for a 1G, few small dents and rock chips, one of the better 1G’s I have seen. Paint is very good condition, only rust on car is spot under rear spoiler (hard to see, see pics). Clear coat is peeling in some places, but paint is still glossy where peeling. Car has never been in an accident to my knowledge. Leather interior (tan) no rips/tears, drivers side seat shows wear. CAR HASN’T SEEN RAIN/SNOW IN 4 YEARS, always garage kept. I have kept up maintenance on this car very well!
The good ~ Very clean for a 1G. Everyone talks about how DSM’s are always broke, unreliable, etc. I have had awesome luck with this car, and would drive it anywhere! Hauls ass. I don’t care what people say about 16g’s, I’ll run your ass with any turbo you have on the street, don’t care how big it is! Very Happy Car has ran a best ET of 11.91 on STOCK suspension/tires/cams/intake no wideband. Ran best MPH of 118.9 on the FP2’s and stock intake no wideband. Runs 7.6-7.8 at 93-95 on 1/8th mile. Last time I was at the track, I granny shifted 6 runs in the ¼, all times were between 12.01 and 12.07 (tranny was weak, have since rebuilt tranny, see below). Car is very consistent (with me driving). Car should be capable of mid/high 11’s with wideband/fresh tranny and someone that doesn’t weigh 260 (like me). LEAK FREE CAR! WOOT!
The bad ~ Has some idle surge, very slight rust, stereo sound sucks (who cares?)
