I'm only testing the waters with this, seeing what kinds of trades I can look at and if I'll get the right price I want out of it. Here's the main features of it.
- Automatic :(
- Just broke 97k miles
- Lowered 2", stock springs are included in the sale
- Rockford Fostgate head unit, 10" sub and 300W amp included if the buyer wants it
- Tan body
- 45% tread on tires
- Little rust on drivers rocker panel
- Regular oil changes with Valvoline 5W-30
- Removed side body moldings and Rally Sport emblems, they'll be included in the sale also
- I kept this car really clean on the inside and out and it was rarely taken on gravel
- New drivers front wheel bearing
- New rear struts
- New drivers window motor
Anymore questions, ask.
I'll consider best offer, someone please be interested.

Everyones gonna think this is stupid, but a '99 Cavalier RS, black and a 5 speed. I know you'll say, "why not just buy the shit and swap it?" but if I found another car that was 5 speed, and a more desirable color, which I did, then I would try to sell my car for the same price that he is selling his for, and take the money from what I get out of mine to buy his.

You talkin' about the Cavvy out across from autozone (I think that's the area I'm thinking of)?
Either way it sounds good Fox.
Cavaliers are good cars if put into the right hand. If anyone has a problem believing that, ask me how much money I've had to put into my car for repairs...ever. The most serious thing I've ever had to replace on my cavalier was a serpentine belt a few years ago.
Started at 48,000 miles, now at 140,000 and counting. Still starts and runs like a charm :)
If I was going to buy another cheap used car I'd end up with another cavvy. Probably a z24 5-spd. I think there's a red one alongside 16th avenue. but I'm not in the mood to buy another car right now.

It's actually right off Old Marion Rd. by Noelridge on the NE side. The cars are more reliable than I thought they were actually, the most serious thing that happened to mine, which it didn't break, but we had to replace the two rear struts because they were squeeking, and the wheel bearing since it was "whining".

i checked out that black sunfire/cav accross from autozone a couple years back when it was for sale. had front end damage and had a ton of radiator stop leak in the coolant system, so it was a no go for my gf.

Are we talking about the Auto Zone on 16th?
ZacFields

thats the one, fox.
you also might wanna check out that red z24 cavalier thats sitting right down 16th avenue from auto zone. Its on the same side of the road as 16th. I don't know anything about it, but being a z24 I bet you'de like it.
The z24's are wayyyy faster than the regular cavaliers. they're 2.4 liters which is very high displacement compared to most 4 cylinders. I was just messing around one day a few years ago with Nick Stanley in his Z24. We happened to be side by side at a stoplight and decided to run them... lets just say if we went a full quarter mile he would have had close to 10 car lengths on me. It wasn't even close. When he shifted into second gear he was gone. For an N/A 4 cylinder car those Z24's are pretty fast. One of the only times I was out at the street races I watched Nick beat a stock TSI with it.

How are the Z24 motors on gas?? That's the only thing I'm worried about.

Realistically 20 city/ 30 hwy just like the non-z24's. They're just as fuel efficient if that's what you're asking.

Those are V6 cavaliers...I get what you're saying. Too bad performance-wise the 96-99 Z24's are faster, and have more of an aftermarket to boot. :) The only thing 90-93 Z24's are good for is engine swaps, and the standard 2.2 liter's have the same size engine bay anyways. Back in the day it would have been more worth your dollars to buy the 4cyl 2.2 if you were looking to do a swap.

I looked at the black one across from Auto Zone. Are you sure it's a Z24? I didn't see any badges for Z24, and it was an automatic, so I wasn't sure if you were talking about a different one...

^ Yeah i'm talking about the red Z24 right down the street from that black one. it's on the other side of the road though. On the same side of the road as autozone but closer to edgewood. It's got a for sale sign in the windshield I think.

( I was the one who posted on foxsgurl28's username on accident )
Yeah I'll check out the red one tomorrow, I got kind of confused when I walked up to the black one. Is this red one at a car lot or just sitting somewhere or what? Thanks for lettin me know by the way Zac.

I think the red one *might* be sitting out front of the muffler shop... denny's I think is the name. but I'm not sure if the sale is affiliated with them or not. but as far as I know it's not a car lot it's sitting at. If it is there aren't many cars :)
